RADIS: Transfer Project Social Causes and Effects of Radical Islam in Germany and Europe

In the BMBF funding program "Social Causes and Effects of Radical Islam in Germany and Europe", twelve research projects are investigating the many facets of radical Islam: What reasons can be identified for strengthening Islamist tendencies in German-speaking and European countries? How do Islamist movements affect certain social groups or society as a whole? What are the implications of these findings for prevention practices, politics and administration, civil society, security authorities, and the media? 

Researchers from various disciplines are investigating these and other questions from a wide range of theoretical and methodological perspectives from 2020 to 2025.
